Google Pages

Hey...I just made a webpage...and yes, it is still the middle of finals week...that's the point! With google pages it takes 1 minute to make a pretty cool looking page. You know...I thought Dreamweaver was easy...for this, all you need to drag a picture around and it automatically moves text to help make the pic fit. SWEET...check it out...i'll try putting more there later.

Well, I know that this isn't my toy...but it is really cool...and because I talked to her real nice she is going to let me put my own account on her brand new macbook pro. The Difficulties of Peer Pressure

Well, I am bruised and battered but happy and have survived a wonderful day snowboarding in the winter-wonderland that is our mountains. If any of you have not been up there...you must. Absolutely amazing. But, now that I have returned to the world of the real I have to face the fact that I have to read basically all of Kant's Groundwork to a Metaphysics of Morals...hooray!!!

Difficulty

I have difficulty going to sleep most days for the simple reason that being awake is so much more fun than being asleep. I often find that there is more I want to squish in a day. Truth be told...It is probably because i have been dillydalling and not doing what is best in a day and so that i want to continually do more of that which is truly fulfilling, notably not aimless web-surfing or Guild Wars.

Gettin' a Rollin'

Well, school has started back up, so i figure i better do the same with this blog. I mean, after all, if this is going to be one of those journal things you can show your kids someday you better make sure you at least put something down for them to gawk at...right? Anyway, school has been a bit of an adjustment. I don't know why...but it has been more energy than I would like to actually get anything done. I dawdling far to much...I really just want to focus, get what i need to done, then relax and READ fun stuff...stuff that has pages you can touch and turn...cuz i have come to the definite conclusion that despite how efficient it is, it is a bit depressing reading stuff on the computer cuz there is just AN INFINITE amount of things to read and at the end of the day you just feel like you wasted a whole bunch of time. That is why it is important to have a fairly good idea of begining, end, and your place in the middle. It can help you know, knowing your place in life. Okay, 'nough of that. Time to continue Aristotle. :)

Oh, and by the way...welcome 2006, I've been waiting for you!

Congrats

Well, congratulations to the newest Research University in America...the new University of California, Merced. Yep, it just started on the 5th of September 2005. :) welcome to college folks of merced. :)
